Calling all artists
Design this year's Hatchie Fall Fest t-shirt

The Hatchie Fall Fest in Brownsville, Tenn., is sponsoring an art competition to determine the t-shirt design for the 12th annual festival to be held October 15, on the historic court square. All ages are encouraged to submit artwork and you do not have to be a Haywood County resident to enter. Entries will be displayed during the month of October at various location in Brownsville.

"We want to engage local and regional artists to contribute original designs for this year's t-shirt," says Sonia Clark, festival project leader.  "The festival team will choose the finalists, and three independent judges will choose the winner."

Artwork should represent or signify what the festival means to you. The art can be any medium and can contain up to three colors. Original pieces must be at least 8.5x11 or larger and submitted by May 1, 2016.

T-shirt design finalists will receive a certificate and their design will be displayed at the festival. The winning designer will receive $100, four complimentary t-shirts, recognition on the festival website with a link to the artists website (if applicable) and recognition from the stage throughout the day-long event. Of course, the winning design will also be used as the official design for the 2016 t-shirt.
