In conjunction with the Hatchie Fall Fest the YMCA
will host a Family Fun Relay, October 17. We are searching for the Fittest
Family in Haywood County. Registration will start at 8 a.m., sharp and the race
will begin immediately after all teams have signed up. This event
will be held at the Football Stadium.
This is a FREE event. You must build your own team and sign up the
morning of the event. Each team must have the following criteria:
• Adult w/stroller
child can be up to age 3 and must be in the stroller-Lead Leg
• Adult
with adolescent age 4-10-Second Leg
• Pre-teen/Teenager
age 11-15 (bouncing a big aerobics ab ball)-Third Leg
• Active
Older Adult 50+ -Anchor Leg
If your family is not made up of this criteria, borrow the
members you need from church, co-workers or from a friends family. This
is a "BUILD YOUR OWN TEAM FAMILY FUN RELAY TEAM."
We are looking for lots of families to have fun with this
event. Family for the Y is defined as those people that you know and have
a relationship with. In a small community such as Brownsville, we are all
family and we would like to unite our community by having them compete with and
against each other.
